Artistic Director of the company

MLPJeremy is from Barnsley in Yorkshire and spent his first eight years of professional life as a Colliery Stores Manager for the NCB. In 1985 he gained a scholarship to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he studied under
Noelle Barker OBE. 

In 1988 he became a Founder member of the New
D’Oyly Carte Opera Company, playing the roles of Jack Point Yeomen Of The Guard, Pirate King and The Major GeneralPirates Of Penzance,  Koko The Mikado and principal baritone in the company's 'Gilbert And Sullivan A La Carte' concerts around the country. For Crystal Clear Opera the roles of Sacristan, Tosca, Yamadori and the Commissioner, Madame Butterfly, Antonio Marriage Of Figaro, Pish Tush The Mikado and Sir Joseph Porter HMS Pinafore at St David's Hall Cardiff. Central Festival Opera, Frosch Die Fledermaus.

For Scottish Chamber Orchestra Escamillo,
Carmen and a G & S Scottish Prom in Glasgow. Jeremy was in the international tour of Chess playing Molokov and Walter De Courcey as far away as Trondheim in Norway, and Dublin in Ireland.

For London Savoyards, the entire Gilbert and Sullivan repertoire, at the Barbican Hall. Jeremy is a full time member of Opera North where his roles are Slade in the European Premier of Kurt Weills Broadway musical
Love Life, Lopez The Duenna (also recorded for Chandos), Registrar Madame Butterfly, Ambrogio The Barber Of Seville, Welko Arabella, 1st Citizen Sweeney Todd, Barone Duphol and Servo, La Traviata, Seargent at Arms Manon Lescaut 1st Villager Il Pagliacci, Taxi Black in One Touch of Venus, Grigorio The Thieving Magpie, and currently Antonio The Marriage Of Figaro

Understudies include The Mayor
Jenufa, Schaunard / Benoit, La Boheme, Mars and Jupiter Orpheus In The Underworld, Sir Robert Cecil, Gloriana and currently The Father and The Minister Arms and The Cow and Rabonier La Rondine.

Jeremy has appeared at Gawsworth Hall as The Learned Judge
Trial By Jury & Sir Joseph Porter HMS Pinafore, and Major General Pirates Of Penzance, also Trio, Trouble In Tahiti, Opera in Prisons Project, Cox in Cox & Box, Aristide Not In Front Of The Waiter for Briggate Opera at Whitley Bay Playhouse.
