born tenor Nicholas Sales has studied with Margaret Duckworth since
1997 and is twice winner of 'Best Male Voice' at Buxton International
Festival.
Opera performances for 2004 include his critically acclaimed Count Almaviva The Barber of Seville for Opera North in Spring 2004, Ramiro La Cenerentola and Belmonte Die Entfuehrung aus dem Serail for
Diva Opera summer tour; Paolino
Il Matrimonio Segreto for Les Azuriales Festival and Narciso, Il Turco in Italia
for the Buxton Festival.

No stranger to the world of Gilbert & Sullivan, he has played Nanki Poo The Mikado, Colonel Fairfax The Yeomen of the Guard, Marco The Gondoliers and Ralph Rackstraw
HMS Pinafore in over 100 performances for The Carl Rosa Opera Company.
His extensive concert experience has seen him sing throughout the UK, Europe and the Far East and opera galas in Guernsey, Brussels, Monte Carlo and London. He was also thrilled to be asked to meet and sing for the ‘3 Tenors’ (Luciano Pavarotti, Jose Carreras and Placido Domingo), at a private function following their concert in Bath in August 2003.
